The story takes place in the Ming Dynasty, and the protagonist is Wei Yangsheng (played by Ye Shanhao), a talented and handsome man. He believes that life is short and one should pursue the bliss of sex in the world. By chance, he met Tie Yuxiang (played by Lan Yan), the daughter of Taoist Confucian Tiefei Taoist.
