该部电影主要讲述了在1869年的德克萨斯州，镇长决定把杀人魔卡文迪什和印第安杀手唐托处死，到卡文迪什逃脱了。约翰的哥哥带领骑警去追卡文迪什的途中遭到内奸的背叛惨遭杀害。唐托这时发现了活着的约翰，劝说他装作别人的样子展开报复。不久后约翰哥哥的妻子被坏人带走，两人在找人的过程中受了伤，回到了印第安部落。最终，两人抓到了卡文迪什，又为卡文迪什的处决方式产生了争议，约翰把唐托打晕，把卡文迪什交给了镇长，可这时他才发现，这一切都是镇长和卡文迪什的阴谋，他两本就是兄弟，一切都是为了河流旁的银矿。

The movie mainly tells that in Texas in 1869, the town mayor decided to put the murderer Cavendish and The Indian killer Donto was executed, and Cavendish escaped. John's brother was betrayed by a mole and killed while leading the mounted police to chase Cavendish. At this time, Tang Tuo found the living John and persuaded him to pretend to be someone else to take revenge. Soon after, John's brother's wife was taken away by bad guys, and the two were injured in the process of finding someone, and they returned to the Indian tribe. In the end, the two caught Cavendish, and disputes arose over the way Cavendish was executed. John knocked Donto out and handed Cavendish to the mayor. Everything is a conspiracy between the mayor and Cavendish, who are brothers at first, and everything is for the silver mine beside the river.
