"Brother's Wife" tells the story of a woman who runs a homestay in the suburbs of Seoul. Her husband often travels on business, and the boiler frequently breaks down, which annoys her. During a repair, she was sexually assaulted by a repairman with a hippie smile, and she fell into a deep predicament, afraid to call the police or tell her husband

This woman's husband often travels for work, so she is left to face various problems alone in the homestay. Boilers break down frequently, and repairmen come to repair frequently, but the problem always recurs. Female in a bad mood had an argument with the repairman, but did not solve the problem.

However, the seriousness of the problem was revealed during a repair. Women meet the hippie-faced repairman again. While settling for repair bills, something horrific happened -- she was sexually assaulted by the repairman. Deep in despair, she was afraid to call the police, worried that she would face more troubles, and dared not tell her husband, for fear of hurting him and the stability of the marriage.

Since then, she has fallen into a miserable life. Every day is a kind of psychological torture. She dare not share this secret with others, so she can only endure such pain alone. As the days passed, the problem was not resolved, but became more and more complicated, and she fell into endless darkness.
