"Red Holiday Black Wedding" is a Korean ethical film co-directed by Park Chul-soo and Kim Tae-sik, starring Oh In-hye, Ahn Ji-hye, Jo Sun-mok, and Lee Pearl. Released on December 8, 2011

The film consists of two short stories about extramarital affairs, showing the complex relationship between love and marriage.

The first story deals with the taboo between Hee Rae (Ahn Jihye) and married man Tae Mok (Cho Sun Mok) love affair. Their extramarital affair has lasted for several years. They originally planned to travel overseas together, but Tai Mu suddenly disappeared on the day of departure, and there has been no news. In fact, Taimu's wife Fushun (played by Li Zhenzhu) brought him to Wuzhou in order to control him. Hee-rae misunderstands that Tae-mu is planning to end their relationship, but after receiving a surreptitious text from Tae-mu, she learns the truth and decides to go to Wuzhou regardless.

Another story revolves around Soo-ji (Oh In-hye), the mistress of her mentor and soon-to-be-wedding Tae-moo. During the wedding, Tae-mu was always dreaming about the future between them. When Soo-ji goes on a wedding trip, Tae-mu returns to the house where they used to live together, only to find someone knocking on the door. It turns out to be Soo-ji who longed to see him again before leaving.

"Red Holiday Black Wedding" interweaves two stories to show the emotional confusion and complexity brought about by extramarital affairs. The film reveals the entanglement between love, marriage and desire, and people's struggle between the pursuit of love and freedom. Through delicate performances and plot arrangements, the audience can deeply explore the inner contradictions and desires of these characters, and think about the emotional relationship in real life.
