这是一个关于一对异乡漂泊的年轻人的爱情故事，大学生林见清（井柏然饰）在春运的火车上和同乡方小晓（周冬雨饰）相识，因为有着共同的梦想，他们作为北漂青年中的一员，踏上了在北京打拼的征途
自此以后，在中关村的电脑配件城、在地下通道里、在下雪的北京天桥、在条件破旧的出租屋、在东北老家的除夕夜，都见证了这对年轻人的喜怒哀乐，经历了很多事情之后，他们走到了一起，随着时间的推移，无论他们这一年的收获如何，在每一年的年关，他们都要一起回老家，跟林见清父亲（田壮壮饰）一起吃年夜饭，宛如一家人一样，但是，因为文化层次和观念的不同，二人慢慢有了分歧，开始演绎起恋人之间的分分合合，十年后，二人在飞机上重逢，可惜一切已经回不到过去的。
