讲述22岁的佐藤达广在大一退学，不知不觉在家中度过4年，个人陷入妄想之中，特别是对阴谋与性幻想，总是和家里人伸手要钱，住在出租屋里度过日子。突然有一天，在他面前出现一位神秘的美少女小岬，小岬是来自日本废材协会的工作人员，目的是要帮助废柴同学重新回归社会，首先要帮助佐藤达广改掉在家里窝的毛病，重新振作起来，加入到脱离废柴的计划之中。住在隔壁的美少女控山崎薰也是协会中的一员，进入协会首要任务是制作游戏，然而口口声声要帮助自己脱离废柴的小岬总是有很多疑点，发生各种各样的事件逐渐的让佐滕广达感觉非常疑惑，有可能日本废柴协会也是一个阴谋，佐藤广达开始逐渐调查事情背后真正的秘密，终于有所察觉，无论是被大学退学，还是找不到工作，都似乎与这个协会有关
