预见到自己未来的儿女，马丁和珍妮知道了，他们将会有一场很大的灾难，所以他们两个人跟着布朗博士，从1985年来到了30年后的2015年。马丁和珍妮想要帮助自己的儿女，但是在2015年马丁遇见了老贝夫和他的孙子格里夫，马丁于是假扮成了自己的儿子，经过一场滑板大战，格里夫一伙自食恶果，成功的帮助自己儿子免除了一场大灾难。与此同时，老贝夫却发现了马丁关于时光机的秘密，珍妮被送到了30年后的家里看见了马丁，30年后那些生活博士和马丁发现真的不见了，于是他们很焦急的寻找着珍妮。时光机因此没人看守，老贝夫就趁着这个机会偷偷使用了时光机，造成了一场混乱。幸好最后马丁和珍妮以及博士凭着自己的聪明才智，挽救了这场危机。
