"Down the Head" is a movie about a series of strange events that happened after Hong Kong policeman Lok Man met a lady in Thailand. Lok Man lost contact after returning to China, and Miss committed suicide because of a broken relationship. In order to get revenge, a bar worker who has a crush on a young lady curses Lemin's family with a bowed head. In the story, detective Zhang Lemin (played by Zheng Haonan) of the crime team is sent to Thailand to investigate the case of Hong Kong gangsters and local criminals. There, he met Ali, a beautiful girl, and quickly fell in love. However, Lok Man received an order to return to Hong Kong, leave Ali, and promised to return to Thailand to find her. However, he suddenly disappeared, making Ali feel cheated and sad. This vague emotional entanglement had unexpected consequences.

Three years later, a senior police officer was killed, and the police identified the wanted criminal Lin Chao as the perpetrator. At the same time, Lemin's son died strangely, and his wife was also threatened with terror. The successive murders put Le Min in a difficult situation. He cooperates with senior police detective Brother Chen to hunt down the murderer with all his strength.

Brother Chen is very sensitive to strange cases, and suspects that Lemin was cursed by lowering his head in Thailand, causing misfortune to his wife and children. At first, Lemin didn't believe this statement, but his wife Jiabi's condition deteriorated day by day, showing various abnormal symptoms and enduring great pain. Lemin couldn't find clues about Lin Chao, but his wife was in danger, so he could only trust Brother Chen and handed his wife to Master Qinghai, hoping to save her by surrendering.
