电影主要讲述了人类养宠物以来，猫和狗自古都会进行很多斗争，猫在人类的眼中是比较温顺的，但是在背后当中总是研究很多高科技，企图想霸占地球，灭绝人类，狗族在一次次保卫人类的活动当中牺牲自己，守护人类健康，并识破猫的计谋，联合人类一同破灭了猫族想称霸地球的阴谋，狗族是对人类忠心耿耿，如果没有狗族的守护，人类早就被猫族打败，在地球上消失。
