In an urban village in a certain southern city, Zhou Zenong (played by Hu Ge) is a leading member of a theft gang. Unfortunately, he accidentally killed a policeman in an operation, and Zhou Zenong was forced to leave his hometown in order to escape legal sanctions. Soon after, the captain of the criminal police brigade (played by Liao Fan) and the underworld forces all began to hunt him down. In Ye'etang, Zhou Zenong met Liu Aiai (Gui Lunmei), a local prostitute, who helped Zhou Zenong get in touch with his wife Yang Shujun, whom he had not seen for many years (played by Wan Qian), conveyed his news. The police deployed a large number of police forces and offered a reward of 300,000 yuan for the capture of Zhou Zenong. However, Zhou Zenong has his own plans. He wants to report himself through his wife, so that he can leave a sum of money needed for living to his family.
This movie has a tight plot, full of suspense and tension.
