The film is adapted from real events, referring to an experiment conducted by American psychologists in 1971, the "Stanford Prison Experiment". Scientists gathered a group of ordinary people and asked them to participate in this special experiment. The scientists divided them into two groups. One group played prison guards, while the other group played prisoners. The content of the experiment is also very simple, that is, let them stay together in prison for two weeks. At the beginning, everyone was talking and laughing, very harmonious. Because everyone thinks that this kind of experiment is very simple, as long as they don't interfere with each other, they can pass it in harmony. But the good times didn't last long. The prison guards enjoyed the right to manage, and later gradually developed into abusing their private power and using prisoners to vent their emotions. Finally, the prisoners couldn't stand these lunatics, and Prisoner No. 77 led an uprising against the prison guards. In the end, the entire prison was paralyzed, and the scene gradually became out of control and chaotic. It was not until the signal light representing the end of the experiment was lit that the farce ended.
