杨晓原本是一个纯真的农村女孩，对未来充满美好的憧憬。然而，在复读学校里，她遇到了张春雷，两人之间产生了一种特殊而扭曲的感情。在这段虐恋中，杨晓逐渐被张春雷控制，陷入了一种不健康的心理状态。
故事发展到后来，杨晓离开了农村，踏上了城市的旅程。在这个陌生的城市里，她遇到了学校学生处副处长姚天明。姚天明成为了她生活中的另一个主宰，她的精神逐渐被他所控制。
"Pain" is a movie describing the process of sadomasochism and transformation of young men and women in the late 1990s. The story takes place in a remote rural area.
