"My Pride (Cantonese)" is a film directed by Wen Weihong, written by Tan Jianwei, Chen Shancong, Tang Shiyong, TV series starring Liu Dan, Zhu Minhan and others. The background of the story is set in the 25th year of Hong Kong's handover, with a struggling family as the epitome of society. The story revolves around the police officer Ye Guodong (played by Chen Shancong). He was appointed as the flag-raiser for the July 1 handover celebration, but he accidentally injured his arm before going on stage and was unable to perform the flag-raising duties. However, on the day of return, his wife Sun Zhuolan (played by Tang Shiyong) gave birth to her son Jialiang (played by Zhu Minhan). This good news made up for Ye Guodong's inner regret. Over time, Hong Kong has experienced highs and lows. During the outbreak of SARS in 2003, Zhuo Lan gave birth to her young daughter Jia Wen (played by Liu Yingting), and the family bravely faced the predicament. As time goes by, Jia Liang encounters a riot during a backpacking trip when he grows up, but thanks to the protection of the country, he is safe.
