"School Ghost" is a horror film produced by a team of emerging Korean directors. The storyline of the film revolves around some supernatural events on campus, including girls sneaking into a legendary haunted abandoned schoolhouse, emotional entanglements among friends, and the appearance of ghosts. Each story is very attractive, not only that, but also reveals some unique characteristics of Korean campus horror culture

In the first story, three girls Yun Helin, Jin Yilan and Yinzhi sneak into the abandoned school building because of a bet. Unexpectedly, the ghost of a dead girl was attracted, forcing them to stay in the school building. The beginning of the story is very flat, the girls' gossip talk and timid performance warm up, with the appearance of the girl, the story began to develop in the direction of horror. The layout is just right, which makes people feel bright.

In the second story, Nam Hee and So Young's friendship is in crisis and their lives are disrupted by some crazy elements , including both being in love with the chairman of the student union and jointly competing for the principal's recommendation qualifications. The whole story is tense and exciting, and the emotional changes are integrated with the villains in the campus. The ending of the story is unexpected, leaving people with endless aftertaste.

The third story concerns a boy's perception of ghosts, who is able to see ghosts in the world around him. In the classroom, he was entangled by the ghost of a girl, and the girl died unexpectedly, and her murderer appeared later. The whole story combines elements of horror and suspense, which makes people more tense.

"School Ghost" has truly achieved a rare balance. Its horror atmosphere is tense but not depressing, and it has the characteristics of Korean school dramas , without violation.
