电影《有时候要像一个娼妇》讲述了主人公良介的人生旅程。在某一天，良介与恶棍十郎的恋人发生关系，十郎出于愤怒，强奸了良介的女友真理子。真理子因此遭受重创，精神受到打击，良介的生活也开始变得颓废不堪。良介后来与模特儿玛子结婚，过着毫无目标的生活，凭借翻译色情书籍维持生计，与玛子以及其他几个女人发生性关系，沉迷于酒和烟的堕落日常
