"The Happier The More Fallen": Exploring the Story of Love and Desire, February 14, 1998, directed by Stanley Kwan, Yau Shuzhen, Chen Jinhong, Zeng Zhiwei, The feature film "The Happier the More Depraved" starring Ke Yulun was released in Hong Kong, China. The film uses the story of two women with different fates but similar looks, Yuewen (played by Yau Shuzhen) and Rose (played by Yau Shuzhen) as an introduction, and launches an emotional exploration about love and desire

The story happened one morning at Hong Kong Kai Tak International Airport. Yuewen and Rose boarded the flight to Taipei at the same time, but due to the negligence of the Filipino maid, Rose lost her handbag and was unable to board the plane, while Yuewen boarded the plane as usual. Unfortunately, the plane had an accident on the way, and all 76 people on board were killed, including Moon Moon.

Yuewen's colleague Xiao Zhe (played by Ke Yulun) is a gay man who has a crush on Yuewen's husband Feng Wei (played by Chen Jinhong) ). However, due to inferiority complex, Xiao Zhe did not have the courage to confess to Feng Wei, but had sex with Yue Wen to satisfy his desire for intimate contact with Feng Wei in his imagination. Yuewen's husband, Feng Wei, comes to the swimming pool where Yuewen works, and retrieves the relic in frustration, while Xiaozhe observes him silently. After Yue Wen passed away, Xiao Zhe often accompanied Feng Wei home, but Feng Wei neither knew about his wife's betrayal, nor that Xiao Zhe fell in love with him. In the pain of losing his wife, Feng Wei met Mr. Tang (played by Zeng Zhiwei), a gay man. Mr. Tang could feel the pain of Feng Wei's loss of his wife. One night, Feng Wei and Mr. Tang were chatting at the beach. Feng Wei suspected that Mr. Tang was interested in him, but Mr. Tang firmly denied it.
