Desire for the Virgin is a fantasy romance film directed by Autouro Lipstein, starring Luis Felipe Tovar and Ariadna Syed you

The film follows Naco's obsession with Laura, who is haunted by two other men. Najun was a Mexican who had taken the place of a Spaniard as a waiter in a coffee shop. Don Lazaro, the owner of the coffee shop, is a Francophile, and his purpose of hiring Najun is to drive away the profiteering Spaniards who plan to assassinate Franco. In the process, Lola breaks into the coffee shop, an opium-addicted whore obsessed with finding her masked wrestler lover, Gardenia Wilson.

Nachon is deeply in love with Lola, who insults his pride and self-esteem. Lola wants to assassinate Franco, and Najon wants to do it for her. Under the lens of photographer Jimeno, Najun ends up being the one who ends Franco. The ending of the movie doesn't quite match what Nachon expected, but the mix of surrealism and magical realism makes for a very interesting ending.

Lola finally succumbed to Najun's feet, licking the soles of his feet just like Najun once did to her. The subtitles read: She became his slave, and their love will last forever.

The Virgin of Desire explores the complex relationship between love and desire through elements of fantasy and romance.
