And her eldest son (played by Huang Shanghe) is driven into despair after being abandoned by his boyfriend. He has always wanted to achieve, but he has fallen into a self-destructive situation. As a mother, she was very worried and caring about her sons, but the excessive loving and nagging ended up causing them a lot of stress.

"Drunk, Life, Dream and Death" won 10 nominations at the 52nd Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards, and finally won Best Supporting Actress , Best New Actor, Best Editing, and Best Original Music Awards.
