本片上映于1998年，是一部动作片。导演刘伟强，主演郑伊健、舒淇、郑浩南、钱嘉乐、秦沛。故事发生于1998年，此时香港刚回归祖国的怀抱。香港的铜锣湾也因此发生了翻天覆地的变化。男主角叫做陈浩南，是洪兴社的老大。某天，有两位不速之客来到他的地盘，一个是东升社的司徒浩南，一个是湾仔区的新任高级督察李Sir。司徒浩南来到铜锣湾的目的很简单，就是想将陈浩南取而代之，成为铜锣湾的新老大。而李Sir就是来追查陈浩南，将他抓捕，然而就在追查过程中，他发现陈浩南是个讲义气的英雄，不由得心生赏识。另一边来自马来西亚的一拿督也来到香港想要搞赌船赚钱，他先前打听过陈浩南，也知道了司徒浩南的野心。于是他明里主动找到陈浩南寻求合作，暗里又和司徒浩南勾结打压陈浩南
