爱人

"Lover" is a love movie directed by Kim Tae-eun and starring Jo Dong-hyuk and Sung Hyun-ah. The film was released in South Korea on December 8, 2005. It tells a two-day emotional story between a serious woman who is about to get married and a strange man who has met twice by chance.

The story takes place in a high-rise elevator, where men and women are alone in this closed space meet. The woman is a serious woman who is about to enter the palace of marriage with her lover who has been dating for 7 years but feels a little tired. However, when the man proposed: "If no one takes the elevator to the third basement, I will buy you a drink." After such a challenge, the woman began to waver. She had a wonderful feeling for this extraordinary man who rode the elevator with her.

When they met again in Paju in the afternoon, the two naturally took off each other mask, and began to seek sexual pleasure from the other party. The man even went so far as to say: "He's going to Africa tomorrow" in order not to cause stress to the woman. The original plan was to end their relationship at 6pm that day, but they extended the time to 10pm that day and then to the next day Morning. Eventually, the two fell into a two-day romance without even knowing each other's name.

"The Lover" shows love through this two-day love story complexity and unpredictability. An encounter and brief time together between two strangers sparks a powerful emotional charge and physical attraction.
