想要成为神就必须得经过历练，要从13位候选人中选出一名作为神，历练相当的残酷。其中故事的主人公架桥明日就是一个平平无奇的高中生。架桥明日对自己的生活没有期待，他十分的渴望自己也能够得到幸福，可是现实往往是残酷的。架桥明日在自己初中毕业的那一天，选择了结束自己的人生，他站在天台上一跃而下，以为借此便可得到救赎，离开这个充满了失望的世界。却没想到有一位叫做纳斯的天使拯救了他的生命，但是加强明日也并不想活下去，因为即使活下去了也得不到幸福。天使便送给了加强明日天使之翼和天使之箭，架桥明日就拥有了剥夺他人性命和让他人爱上自己的能力。同时天使也告诉架桥明日他被成为了神的候选人之一，只要能够在13位候选人中脱颖而出，成为最后的神，就可以拥有真正的幸福
