This work adopts the classic character "Momotaro" in Japanese folklore for the first time as the subject. In the later period, the golden warrior with dual forms was added, becoming the third Super Sentai series in the Reiwa era.

"Bao Taro Sentai Donbrothers" is also the first time Toei introduced the Super Sentai series to China Mainland China, and simultaneously broadcast on iQiyi and Youku video platforms, and provide Chinese dubbing. At the same time, the film also became the first Super Sentai series to be broadcast on ViuTV in Hong Kong. It was broadcast in Japanese and Cantonese, and a week of free replays was provided on ViuTV's official website and mobile app after the show ended. In Taiwan, Dongsen Youyou TV also premieres the Mandarin-dubbed version every Friday at 5:30 pm, and rebroadcasts it at 4:30 pm the next day.
