"August Virgin" is a film directed by Jonas Trueba, Issaso Ara Narrative and Vito Sanz. Set against the hot August backdrop, the film tells the story of 33-year-old Ava who comes to Madrid and tries to live out her true self.

In this hot August, residents of Madrid went out to escape the heat, while the city It is reserved for tourists and the annual Feast of Our Lady celebrations. At the age of thirty-three, Ava came to this city and lived in a short-term rental apartment with her luggage. However, as the joyous holiday atmosphere fades away, Ava begins to have a contradiction. She was exiled to this strange city, and her mood fluctuated because of meeting her ex on the street. In this strange yet familiar city, she pondered how to truly live out herself. In this strange environment, she began to reflect on her life and choices, looking for inner balance.
