《变脸》讲述了恐怖分子特洛伊在暗杀资深特工亚瑟时，意外杀死了他唯一的儿子，亚瑟发誓要亲自把凯斯特洛伊关进监狱。尚·亚瑟最终抓住了一个机会，在特洛伊逃跑之前，把他绳之以法，凯斯·特洛伊重伤昏迷。然而但是凯斯的哥哥告诉他，特洛伊在被抓之前，放置了一颗强力的毒气炸弹，不管警察怎么审问，凯斯的哥哥都不肯说出爆炸的位置。无奈之下，亚瑟的上司提议，用高科技的整形外科技术，将亚瑟和凯斯·特洛伊的相貌互换，然后让亚瑟伪装成凯斯·特洛伊，潜入监狱，让凯斯的兄弟告诉他炸弹的位置。一开始的时候，一切都很顺利，但出乎所有人意料的是，凯斯特洛伊竟然在昏迷中苏醒了！
