《超时空恋人》是一部都市爱情奇幻电视剧，剧中的女主角是一名女作家，通过一次时空穿越后遇到了自己写的小说中的女二号，这个女二号总给男主出难题，为了帮助男主角快速逆袭，成为真正的主角，她决定来和女2号进行斗智斗勇
作为一个三代女作家，女主角平时一直在写自己的作品，为了成功将自己的小说写的完美，于是自己在偶然的一次事件中进入到了自己写的小说中，遇到了自己写一个女二号以后，发现这个女二号和自己心里所想的不一样，女作家想要改变自己在整个书作中的命运，她决定找到男主角作为自己的助理，然后两个人开戏开启了逆袭，在这个过程中和自己的小助理互相看对了眼，最后三流女作家想要离开自己的小说世界回到现实中，而她和男主角的爱情究竟会如何。
