The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is a Japanese drama directed by Hitoshi Iwamoto and Yoshinori Shigeyama that premiered in July 2016. The play is adapted from the novel by Yasutaka Tsutsui, starring Yuna Kuroshima, Fuma Kikuchi and Ryoma Takeuchi

The story tells the wonderful emotional story between a girl who has the ability to travel through time and space, Yoshiyama Miha, and Fukamachi Shohei from the future. Miha Yoshiyama is the niece of the original protagonist. In this live-action version, Miha Yoshiyama, played by Yuna Kuroshima, awakens the ability to travel through time and space because of the smell of flowers from the science laboratory. Fukamachi Shohei is a future researcher who cannot return to his own timeline for some reason. He brainwashed the people around him and lived as Shohei Fukamachi. The relationship between the two begins here, and the story revolves around the relationship between them.

This TV series is an imaginative love story. It demonstrates the magical power of traveling through time and space, and the audience can't help but immerse themselves in this fantasy world.
