The Dry Wind is a film that takes place in the hot and arid region of Goiás, Brazil. The main character, Sandro, leads a drab life, split between work, swimming and anonymity. However, everything takes a turn in a seemingly ordinary moment

Sandro has always been an inconspicuous ordinary person in this small town, and he is used to struggling to survive in the dry wind. However, on this day, a stranger named Maicon appeared in his life. Maicon's appearance looks like a character from the Finnish cartoon Tom, which makes him stand out a bit.

The appearance of Maicon brought new experiences and challenges to Sandro. The stranger, who seems to have intentionally disrupted the tranquility of the town, is elusive with mystery and uncertainty. Accompanied by Maicon, Sandro begins to try to leave his familiar life circle and embark on a new journey.

The communication between the two made Sandro gradually untie the wrapping in his heart. He began to open up and show Maicon true self. In Maicon, Sandro seems to have found a kind of liberation and release. They wandered together in the hot town, enjoying every bit of life, as if time stood still at this moment.
