Frank (Leonardo DiCaprio) and April (Kate Winslet) are a self-important pair. A high middle-class couple, they live in a community called "Revolutionary Road" in Connecticut, USA, leading a wealthy and stable life. But the two are not satisfied with the status quo. April is a woman who pursues romance. She is tired of the unchanging life here in the United States and wants to start over in a different environment. She once heard Frank say that Paris is a romantic city, so she was full of longing for Paris. And Frank is a man with a lofty heart. He is ambitious, but he is crushed by reality and lives a mediocre life, so he pins his dissatisfaction on alcohol and extramarital affairs. When April proposed to live in Paris one day, Frank's first reaction was to object, and the two started endless quarrels, but later Frank agreed to move his family to Paris in order to save their relationship. But in the end it was shaken by Frank's promotion and April's pregnancy. In the end, the desperate April ended her life with self-mutilation abortion, and Frank regretted it too much and was very sad
