"Kung Fu (Cantonese)" is an action comedy film directed by Stephen Chow, written by Stephen Chow, Zeng Jinchang, Huo Xin, and Wenqiang Chen, starring Stephen Chow, Bruce Leung, Yuan Hua, etc. It was released in China on December 23, 2004. The film tells the story of a street gangster who became a generation of martial artist, and a kind-hearted gangster who turned his back on evil.

Set in Guangdong, China in the 1940s, the main character, A Xing (played by Stephen Chow), is a hopeless gangster who is good at smooth talk but lacks willpower and has been living a life of accomplishing nothing. Ah Xing longs to join the ruthless and notorious Ax Gang, and dreams of becoming a big shot in the underworld. However, his fate was changed by an accident.

The Ax Gang is eager to level the only land that has not been included in the sphere of influence. Ah Xing saw this opportunity and prepared to take the opportunity to show his ability. However, he didn't expect that there were martial arts masters hidden in this field, led by the fat and bully landlady Fei Po and the cowardly husband, the second uncle. These seemingly ordinary people have extraordinary martial arts skills.
