"Underworld (Cantonese)" is a thriller, drama, and crime movie released in 2005, directed by Johnnie To , starring Ren Dahua, Leung Ka Fai, Louis Koo, Zhang Jiahui and Xue Lam. The film is set in a fictional traditional gang in Hong Kong, and tells the story of the struggle and competition within the gang in the biennial election.

In this fictional world of gangsters, a traditional gang is about to go biennial Election of bigwigs. However, the gang is facing many difficulties: the police have been watching, the old boss is unwilling to resign, and the important token of the gang has mysteriously disappeared. In order to solve these problems, the gang decided to send the five most powerful members of the "Five Tigers" to find tokens and participate in this fierce boss battle.

These five members were in charge of different areas before and had never met. In the process of chasing the tokens, they gradually feel authority and power, which makes them have a new perspective on life and power.
