《黄金大逃狱》的主角钟正是一个没有名气的落魄编辑，而且生活也相当的落魄，但是在一次意外整理爷爷的遗物当中，他却发现了一张宝贵的藏宝图，而这个宝藏当中的财富就已经价值两千万的金条，但是这些金条所藏的地址确实在一所监狱的下面，为了找到宝藏他决定，孤身一人前往赤浪湾监狱，通过监狱中的各种所见所闻来偷偷将宝藏给运出去，然而在监狱当中却遇到了狱霸大彪哥的各种迫害和骚扰而就当他决定放弃时，他却被重情重义的谢哥暗中保护再一次偶然期间，他们得知意向宝藏计划，然而这个计划却被三人同时得知在此之后，三人的关系可变得暧昧起来，然而在双方经过一系列的商讨之后，他们决定做越狱的方式联合行动，将监狱里面所蕴藏的宝藏部运送出去
