"Yellowstone: 1883 Season 1" is a TV series co-directed by Taylor Sheridan and Christina Voros, starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, Billy Bob Thornton and many other actors.

The play follows the Dutton family's journey westward many years ago, across the Great Plains to America's last wilderness, in search of a better future in the promised land of Montana. The story takes 1883 as the background and shows the cruelty and hardship of the wild west at that time.

In this legendary journey, tough cowboy Shea Brennan, played by Sam Elliott, has a very sad past but a strong will and unyielding courage. He takes on the daunting task of leading a group of people from Texas to Montana, determined not to tolerate any fools, who must face countless challenges and difficulties in pursuit of a better life.

James and Margaret, the patriarchs of the Dutton family, are played by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. They are the leaders of this westward march, carrying the hopes and dreams of the family. During the journey in the wilderness, they will face the test of life and death, and at the same time they must face the problems and contradictions within the family.

In this era full of wilderness, the Yellowstone National Park area is still an undeveloped pristine land, where danger and opportunity coexist. Each character has their own goals and persistence. They meet and compete in this unknown land, and finally embark on a magnificent and legendary journey.
