The film "The Girl on the Train" is a suspense film directed by Tate Taylor, featuring Emily Blunt, Rebecca Starring Ferguson and Hayley Bennett. The film premiered in London, England on September 29, 2016, and was officially released in the United States on October 7. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Paula Hawkins. The story tells the story of Rachel, a newly divorced and alcoholic London woman who takes the train to pass the time every day, passing by a couple's house on the way. One day, Rachel discovered that her wife had mysteriously disappeared. She became obsessed with investigating the matter, but gradually discovered the crises behind lies, marriage and lust

Rachel's marriage failed because of her infertility, and she was addicted to alcohol all day long. Her once dream life was shattered, and her ex-husband Tom lived with a woman named Anna and had a child, which made Rachel very angry. She pretends to take the train to work every day and has actually been fired. Having nothing to do, she often monitors and stalks her ex-husband.

During the long journey on the train, Rachel would always pass by the house where she and her ex-husband used to live, and the blonde lived next to her Beauty Meghan and her husband Scott. Rachel imagined the man and woman as the perfect couple in her mind, and outlined their life, work and names, but she didn't know what the other person's real life was like.
