《金刚川》该剧为了纪念中国人民志愿军抗美援朝70周年，讲述的是志愿军战士在敌我力量悬殊的情况下，以血肉之躯捍卫边境的英勇事迹
在1953年的抗美援朝时，志愿军必须要在第一时间赶往京城，参加最后一次大型的战役，如果没有能够及时的赶到，那么战况可想而知，必须要穿过一条名为金刚山的河流，才能够前往京城，于是志愿军工兵修建了一座木桥，可以让所有的战士和将军们通过，美军在金刚川这片区域布置起了严防死守，并且在金城大战中拥有着最大的优势，于是配备着榴弹炮和轰炸机前来不断的阻挡志愿军和战士，志愿军也在不屈不挠的情况下一直在修建着木桥，每次将木桥炸弹都能够短短几个小时之内重新修好，该片表现了中国人民志愿军强大而又坚韧。
