该片是由张鑫指导,焦恩俊,于东江主演的一个冒险动作片，讲述了镖局头领关宁受人挑拨和他的妻子反目成仇，在荒原上展开了一场情与理爱与恨的生死搏杀的故事，在故事开局的时候是一个相对来说比较好的恋情，为了阻止洋人挖西夏亡灵的战斗在故事当中的主人公，因为自己妻子不幸失去了生育能力，渴望传宗接代的观影，又娶了另一个女人，更是因为这一个女人导致了两个人之间的爱情出现了很大的裂痕，最终关宁为了追杀一个孩子，找寻王陵寻宝图和妻子反目成仇，虽然最终孩子得救了，但是关宁和他的妻子都死在了贺兰山下的荒原当中，开篇故事当中可以说是将人性展现的淋漓尽致，展现了不同人物之间的性格故事，两个剧情人物也是完美的体现了该剧情电影当中的精髓
