Sisters Who Raise a Glass is an uplifting film. In the story, three women who love drinking meet and become close friends because of their common hobbies. Facing the threshold of entering their thirties, they each face different confusions and problems. Qu Yang, a working woman, is under tremendous professional pressure. Guo Xinting, a housewife, suffers from a marital accident, and Wu Peipei, a good girl, is opposed by her family to resign and start a business

Although they are drinking buddies, they support and help each other in life. Suffering from emotional trauma, Qu Yang put all her thoughts on her work. She is a typical urban white-collar worker, and "working hard" is her motto. She longs to save money to buy a house and live a stable life. Guo Xinting seems to have a wealthy family, but in fact she faces a series of family problems such as conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, husband cheating, and lacks care and respect. Wu Peipei was dissatisfied with the ordinary life. She had a dream of starting a business, but was opposed by her family.

The encounter and communication of the three women enabled them to gradually learn to actively deal with problems in real life. Guo Xinting made up her mind to get rid of her long-troubled marriage, re-employment, and achieve financial independence; while Qu Yang, after experiencing a difficult growth process, healed the pain in his heart and dared to accept new relationships.
