The movie "Ridosan" tells the story of the Korean Kim Shin-ra, whose pseudonym Ridosan (played by Xue Kyung-gu), has amazing power since he was a child. Through the recommendation of a scout, he came to Japan to learn sumo. After unremitting efforts, Ridoyama's strength gradually emerged, and finally ranked third in the all-Japan sumo wrestling ranking. However, due to his North Korean identity, he has never been able to gain more recognition and opportunities. Disappointed, Li Daoshan fell into a degenerate life of drinking and fighting.

In an accident, he met a wrestler from the United States. This encounter changed the fate of Ridosan. He decided to leave sumo and go to the United States to study wrestling. A year later, Ridoyama returned to Japan with his newly acquired skills, bringing back a sport that was still new at the time. In the ring, he defeated a wrestler from the United States, which aroused enthusiastic responses from the dejected Japanese people after the war, and became a national hero.

However, Li Daoshan's legendary career came to an end at an unexpected speed. After his success, his life was not satisfactory. Facing all kinds of pressure and troubles, he fell into a painful situation. Although Li Daoshan has a strong physique, his heart is extremely fragile. The former hero ended in tragedy.
