"The Deer and Ding Tale" is a TV series of martial arts in costume launched by Hong Kong TVB, with 45 episodes in total. The play is adapted from the martial arts novel of the same name by Mr. Jin Yong. It is directed by Li Tiansheng, written by Chen Jingyi, and starring actors such as Chen Xiaochun, Ma Junwei, Liang Xiaobing, Chen Shaoxia and Liu Yucui. This drama takes the social history of the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty as the background and tells the story of A young man named Wei Xiaobao who was born in a poor family but experienced legendary stories.
