《 贫民窟的百万富翁》是一部英国剧情片，该片2009年3月26日在中国上映。影片主要讲的是印度少年贾马勒参加了电视节目谁想成为百万富翁，但是他的目的是找到拉媞卡，因为拉媞卡对这个节目十分喜欢。所以他就参加了这个节目，就在他获取高额奖金时，却有人揭露贾马勒有作弊的可能的故事。
影片中贾马勒获得了巨额奖金，但是主持人心有不甘，暂停播放节目，并且以作弊的理由报警把贾马勒抓走，因为警察和主持人及所有的观众都十分好奇，没受过任何教育的贫民窟孤儿为什么会答对连专业人士都不会的问题，他们这些人一个一个的询问着贾马勒，后来在这些人的不断追问下，贾马勒终于说出了藏在他内心深处不可思议的遭遇，才让他顺利过关的故事。
