本片上映于2009年，是一部奇幻动作片。导演黄毅瑜，主演贾斯汀·查特文、詹姆斯·马斯特斯、郑智麟、周润发、埃米·罗森。故事发生在当代美国的某座城市，男主角叫做悟空，是一个青年。他的爷爷悟饭从小教授他武功，但从不让他在外面表露出来，于是武功高强的悟空只得隐藏自己的锋芒。在外人看来悟空就是一个瘦弱不堪的少年，也因此在学校里成为了被欺负和嘲笑的对象，不过悟空并不将这些事情放在心上。某一天，在很多年前被封印了的比克大王意外复活，悟饭知晓大魔王的一切罪行，心里很清楚如果不能及时阻止大魔王，世界将会重新被阴影笼罩。为了世界的和平，他只身前去对抗大魔王，结果因此丧命。悟饭在临终前嘱咐悟空去寻找龟仙人和七龙珠来阻止比克大魔王占领地球，否则人类会再度陷入危机之中

The story takes place in a certain city in contemporary America. The hero is Wukong, a young man. His grandfather Gohan taught him martial arts since he was a child, but he never let him show it outside, so Wukong, who is strong in martial arts, had to hide his edge. In the eyes of outsiders, Wukong is just a thin and thin boy, so he has become the object of bullying and ridicule in school, but Wukong doesn't take these things to heart. One day, King Piccolo, who was sealed away many years ago, unexpectedly revived. Gohan knew all the crimes of the big devil, and knew very well that if he could not stop the big devil in time, the world would be shrouded in shadow again. For the peace of the world, he went to fight against the big devil alone, but he died because of it. Before his death, Gohan told Goku to find Kamesenjin and Dragon Balls to prevent Piccolo from occupying the earth, otherwise human beings would fall into crisis again
