在不断的革命当中，牟子龙经历了铁与血的洗礼，思想方面慢慢成熟。虽然自己在革命的道路上遇到了最重要的仇敌马千驹，但是为了民族大义牟子龙还是放下了心中的芥蒂，与马千驹联合一起抵抗日本人的侵略拉起了一支抗日的队伍。在故事的最后牟子龙和马千驹再次在战场上相遇。这时候他们两个人代表的是不同的姓名，代表的是不同的队伍。这两个人在战场上展开了最终对决。最终牟子龙成功的击杀了马千驹，不仅报了自己的血海深仇，同时也完成了民族大义。
