This movie is based on the childhood of Chris Rock (two-time Emmy Winner), based on his life, tells interesting stories about his growing up in Brooklyn's black neighborhood in the 1980s. Chris Rock himself also took on the role of narrator. The story depicts Chris's family life in a humorous and interesting way. His father was a strict and money-loving man, while his mother was face-saving and hot-tempered. He also has a charming and clever younger brother and a delicate and troublesome younger sister. And Chris is a kind and lovable boss.

In this story, Chris confronts a white man who is two hours away from home At school, he was bullied by the little fat man, and at the same time he had a crush on the girl who liked his younger brother. He only has one friend who is bullied like himself. Despite this, Chris is still able to have fun with his everyday life, playing video games and secretly listening to his father's hilarious CDs.
