"Three Levels of Rose Love" is a Hong Kong classic love ethics film directed by Liang Dongni, starring Qin Hong and Tan Quanqing, released in 1991 Releases December 12

The film draws on the story style of Lawrence's "Lady Chatterley's Lover", telling the story of a woman whose sexual desire is difficult because of her disabled husband. Satisfaction, and thus psychological contradictions and moral inhibitions, triggered a series of stories. The film depicts an emotionally complex story by showing the heroine's psychological entanglements and moral struggles.

After her husband is disabled, the heroine faces difficulty in controlling and satisfying her sexual desire. However, her inner shackles of moral and social concepts put her in a difficult situation. The film shows the inner struggle and contradiction of the heroine through the delicate plot and emotional expression.

"Three Levels of Rose Love" takes emotion and ethics as the main line, and portrays the complex inner world of the heroine. Director Tony Leung skillfully uses pictures and music to enhance the emotional expression of the film. The excellent performances of Qin Hong and Tan Quanqing in the film also added a lot to the film, especially in expressing the characters' inner struggle and emotional entanglement, they both performed well.
