The Miracle of Santa Ana is an Italian-American co-production of war film directed by Spike Lee, featuring John Turturro, Michael Eyre Starring Ray, Laz Alonso and others. It was released on September 26, 2008. The film tells the story of four black soldiers who rescue Tuscan boys trapped in a village. It is also an adaptation of the novel written by James McBride

The background of the story took place in Italy in 1994 during World War II. In order to save the Italian boy and the large army, four African-American soldiers lost their blood. In a small backward village, you need to get along with villagers who speak different languages, and also beware of enemy attacks.

4 American soldiers tensed their nerves and arrived at the small village of Santa Ana, where they were entertained by the villagers. Discrimination issues, because of the skin color, the government independently formed these people into an army and treated these people as victims, but the soldiers who suffered from alienation from the country and their compatriots because of the skin color problem found spiritual comfort in a remote mountain village in Italy. Across class, geography and race, they have created miracles praised by the world.
