影片讲述了女主人公高世妍是拥有着绝美外貌和聪明头脑的女检察官，是很多男人心中最完美的梦中情人，而男主人公车民是女主人公高世妍的同学，从小两人一起长大，车民在学校的学习成绩出众，从小家庭条件优越，但却有着十分丑陋的外表，车民和高世妍因为某种原因两人先后死亡，又被灵魂珠复活，复活之后两个人的外形发生了很大的变化，之前容貌绝美的高世妍变成了一名平凡普通的女子，而十分丑陋的车民则变成了一名有着十分帅气外表的男子，之后两人一起寻找凶手揭开真相。
