莫格利从小被守林的爷爷抚养长大，在森林中和动物作伴，一起成长起来。在都市创业的独立女性，凌熙误打误撞地将莫格利带到了城市中，本来想将莫格利快速的送回他所在的森林，又因为自身工作营销的要求，必须要将莫格利留下来。
凌熙和莫格利最终住在了一个屋子中，两个人朝夕相处，也生出了不一样的情愫，莫格利是人类和自然沟通的重要的桥梁，在以前没有接触过现代社会，灵犀逐渐帮助莫格利，学习现代社会的生活方法，融入到现代生活，知道生活中的一些道理。
凌熙也在莫格利身上体会到有关大自然的众多奥秘，学习大自然的哲学知识，加入保护大自然环境和生态的行列，拯救生态环境，最终两个人一起互帮互助，在彼此身上学习知识，一起成长。
