The play is based on the childhood of the protagonist Sheldon Cooper. It tells a series of heartwarming stories about his life in Texas with his family.

Little Sheldon is a genius boy, his IQ is higher than ordinary people, but in Emotional intelligence is relatively low, causing him to often experience embarrassment and confusion in social situations. He was a maverick kid with a boundless passion for scholarship and knowledge. Despite his natural intelligence, he can be a bit clumsy when it comes to relationship and family problems.

In "Little Sheldon Season 2", we see little Sheldon's daily life at school, how his family got along with him, and the challenges he faced growing up. His family includes parents, older brother and grandmother, who have given great love and support to little Sheldon's upbringing.
