The story takes place on a dying earth, where the yellow sand is everywhere and the crops are dying. Former NASA astronaut Cooper discovers a strange gravitational field phenomenon in his daughter Murphy's room, and learns that NASA is secretly carrying out a plan to save mankind. Many years ago, a mysterious wormhole appeared near Saturn, and NASA sent astronauts to find a planet suitable for human habitation. Under Professor Brand's persuasion, Cooper bid farewell to his daughter, and took a spaceship with Emilia Brand, Romily and Doyle to investigate three promising planets.
They traveled through distant galaxies, experienced a time change of one hour and seven years, and witnessed the magnificence and mystery of unknown planets and black holes. In the loneliness and despair in the universe, a deep emotion beyond time and space was established between them.
