The film follows the chain of events that began with a seemingly insignificant altercation. On a summer afternoon in Beirut, mechanic Tony (Adel Karam) and construction foreman Yasser (Kamel Al Basha) have an argument over a broken drainpipe. Tony is a Christian and Yasser is a Palestinian. The stubborn Tony refused to accept Yasser's apology, which eventually led to a fierce confrontation between the two in court. Due to a series of complicated reasons, this small lawsuit eventually triggered an out-of-control social riot.
The source of the whole story is an insult. Tony humiliated Yasser severely, and the two people who had never met each other influenced each other in their later lives, gradually understanding each other's stories and backgrounds. However, even so, they still insisted on their position and refused to compromise. The whole film is full of tension and suspense, firmly locking people's emotions in front of the screen.
