故事当中的主角是一群试验品，未来世界当中，病毒肆意漫烂，存活下来的只有送到漠之城的试验人群。他们脖子上都带有特殊的仪器，只要离开基地就会爆炸，所以他们无法离开。基地当中的食物和水是有限的，人们开始争夺，暴露出很多人性的弱点，只有一个女孩脖子上的芯片出了故障，大家送她出了基地，希望能够带回来更多的食物和水来拯救大家。令他们没想到的是，这个女孩儿一去不复返。
